to win the Taxi Grand Prix Championship?
Create a team, pick your drivers, get racing and you could be going to the Italian Grand Prix in Monza.

Race rules
Your team - will be made up of two taxi drivers, which you select from a pool of ten. Your team will become active once you have selected your two drivers and the race begins. Details of each race are available on the competition page. Your homepage will also have details about each upcoming or current race.
New teams can join the season and any race at any time but to give yourself the best chance of winning it's best to start with the first race at the beginning the season. A team can only enter each race once.
Finishing - both of your drivers must complete the race distance in order to finish. For example, during the British Taxi Grand Prix both drivers have to clock up 308 kilometres (616 kilometres in total for your team). As soon as one half of your team completes the race, they will become inactive.
Winning - the team whose drivers complete the race distance in the shortest time will be declared the winners. If no team completes the race distance by the end of the allocated time, the team who has completed the greatest distance wins.
Power ups and penalties - to keep you all on your toes and to make the race as exciting as possible, power ups and penalties will randomly be awarded by the race marshal throughout each race. These will be announced in the live race news feed and you’ll be able to see if a driver has a power up or penalty through a series of icons on their details page.
- Power ups
Turbo boost – drivers given a turbo boost will clock up double distances for the next hour
Flying laps - drivers with a flying lap will be able to clock up double the distance for 30 minutes.
- Penalties
Tyre change – this penalty forces a driver to 'pit', zeroing their distance for the next hour.
Safety car - if the race marshal deploys the safety car, the driver’s distance is halved for the next hour
Driver rules
Swapping your drivers - you can swap your drivers whenever you like during a race. Any swaps you make will happen on the hour, so if you swap a driver at 2.10pm the new driver will not start driving for you until 3pm.
Shifts - all drivers will work eight hour shifts Monday to Friday of every race week between 6am and 12am. The British Taxi Grand Prix is the exception when drivers will work Wednesday to Sunday. During their shift each driver is entitled take a lunchbreak which can be taken at any time as well as a number of shorter breaks. During their breaks the driver's GPS tracker will be off.
Drivers will also let you know if they're having a great day, a slow day, if they need a sickie, or a day off and so on via the Twitter and the live race news feed.
The race marshal
Live race news - the race marshal will oversee every race and the whole of the Taxi Grand Prix season. A firm but fair figure, they'll award power ups and penalties to drivers. They’ll also provide commentary on the progress of the teams, announce the winners of each race and any spot winners.
Spot prizes - If the race marshal is feeling generous, they'll post spot prize questions on the site. If you're fastest with the answer then you could win a special prize - so look out for the questions in the live race news feed.
